NEW YORK - September 8 2022- New record breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States in august 2022. The United States remains our largest market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 there was a record-breaking number of tourism numbers each month. Canada is poised to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.
